Hi! I don’t fully understand your idea yet. You wrote: “I add an extra 20 liter cooler” — do you mean an additional radiator? Is that actually something that is done in practice? Honestly, I have not heard of that before. In general, ADS already plans to simulate the amount and quality of coolant. The coolant will lose its properties, and with heavily worn vehicles it may even decrease over time, creating the need to top it up. All of this will be part of a major update where ADS will simulate all fluids, filters, and other vehicle consumables. As for your idea, please try to explain it differently, because, as I mentioned, I still do not quite understand what its purpose would be within FS25 gameplay. |

Hi. And yes. The possibility for extra radiators. And yes its done. Privat
or from companies which make build ups for more specialized work. If you
have a tractor you know will go with a forage havesyer like the poettinger
mex5 every season, you just add extra coolers to keep the engine
temperature more stable. And i wonder how you actually simulate the
amount of coolant if there is no entry for that in the xml of the vehicle?
Meaning, its somewhere hidden in the giants data as an general amount
per hp or you did it in your mod. I personally would prefer an option in
thexml where i could adjust the amount. And if its just something like.
<advanceddamagesystem coolantscale=“1.2” />. Which would simulate extra
coolers if mounted
But i understand if its to much work to implenent this
Thanks for your answer and questions. We like that mod a lot and sometimes
are there details we just need to ask whats possible or not

Hi,
i am wondering if it actually would be possible to add a feature where to define the cooling water amount as the amount of coolercapacity? Lets say the old tractor has an original 60 liter cooler and i add an extra 20 liter cooler to get the motortemperature down a bit while working hard. the complete colling water amount would be 60+20 in the coolers and + 100 going around in the engine and cvoolingpipes. so in all: 180 liter cooling water which need to be heatet up and cooled down. then the mod can read these cooling informations from the xml and adjust it better in the game...
