Trailer too heavy?

I have a Fendt 728 with 300 hp and an empty Rudolph 5t trailer and I got the message that the trailer is too heavy for the tractor.

That doesnt make any sense.

Hi! ADS does not have a message saying that a trailer is too heavy for the tractor. There is only a one-time hint, as well as the general vehicle overload warning.

What exactly do you mean? Please enable debug mode in the mod settings, reproduce the message, and take a screenshot.

Of course, 300 hp is enough to tow that trailer, even fully loaded.

I was pulling this up a very slight incline when the message popped up. I had already clicked it away so dont have a screenshot, but I looked in your translations xml and it was this message:

This message is triggered when the hp / trailer weight ratio is less than or equal to 8. So in your case, you would have had to be towing around 37.5 tonnes.

Obviously, some kind of error occurred that triggered this message. The message itself does not affect anything — it is only informational and educational.

To make sure everything is working correctly, you can enable debug mode and check the transmission section in the debug panel, specifically the HTF factor. The first and second values should both be 0.

The total weight is 15t

I tried to reproduce it by going up and down this incline but the message didnt pop up again, so maybe it was a onetime bug

Yes, your Heavy Trailer factor is historically at zero, which means it has never actually triggered. Let’s consider this a one-time bug.

P.S. Small spoiler for you: during maintenance, you became a victim of low-quality consumables. To detect this, perform a Full defectoscopy, and then do an unscheduled maintenance procedure. Alternatively, you can do the maintenance right away.

It is not critical, but it may cause breakdowns in the future. Also, I can see that you start the tractor very frequently.
