game loads and renders! timer also works with the "beating" sound effect when it runs out

issues

• car looks to be floating and falls very very slowly
• car drives veryyyy slowly (but the wheels do turn!) - likely due to low gravity so the wheels barely make contact
• car's texture looks to be incorrectly mapped? (could be the reflection at full opacity?)
• transparent shadow texture under car renders as complete black instead
• frame rate may be incorrect (judging from the initial camera movement, the game runs at 60fps? or perhaps the monitor's refresh rate?)
• font is thick and has aliasing
• lighting may be basic, incorrect, have artifacts
• object scaling not functioning correctly - look at screenshot comparison
• fps counter at top left is in a white box instead of transparent (I think)
