I had the same issue and found that it went away when I locked to version 1.5.5. Hope that helps!

I don't know if this will fix your problem. But I'm using Nuxt 3. I encountered this issue when the page is on full ssr. Romoving the ssr on the page where I'm importing the package solves the problem for me.

I was getting the same error on NextJs version "next@15.1.3". I am not sure if it has something to do with the NextJs version.

But #145 (comment) saved my day.

I fixed this in NextJs by importing like this:
