v1.5.6 Stopped showing win11 25h2 26220.7271

Since last week i suddenly dont see QTtabbar no more. This week i updated to rs26220.7271 and tried the latest beta 1.5.6 but still nothing shows.

I understand that the development has been halted seeing the last update was 2024

Still, this complete year i had no issues with this tool

Does any one know a possible fix

I don't use the indiff version, I use the official version from quizo, and I can confirm that the tabs are not appearing after a clean install of Windows 11 25H2 latest build in stable version 26200.7309

I think it's some Windows update that's preventing qttabbar from working.

"set up the resource manager" What is this? Its not working for me.

So I have setup version 1043. I patched using explorer patcher.

I then open control panel, type C: in the location bar. Press enter.
Then go to view menu then options.

However I can enable the bottom QTTAB bar but not the top one.....

Right clicking the bottom QTTABBAR area, then going to toolbars > tab bar does nothing.
however selecting tab bar (bottom) does add the bar.

Any idea how to get the top one working?

The extra views work, the bottom tabs work but only in the win10 explorer. Not in win11

I have multiple PC's with QT tabbar installed. Windows 10 = ok. Windows 11 PC 1 = ok, WIndows 11 PC 2 = not ok.

v1038, 1039 updates does not work for me on this Win11 PC.
indiff versions do not work.
V1043 works, but only on the bottom bar and only on Windows 10 explorer.
After open a new windows 10 explorer the bottom bar disappears and has to be renabled again. It does not remember any startup folders set in the program.

Currently, it is understood that after updating this patch, plugins cannot be added to the toolbar in Windows 11, which not only affects qttabbar. All other plugins in the Explorer toolbar are also affected.
The internal versions of OS 26200.7462 and 26100.7462 have been restored to 26100.7019 and are functioning normally (tested)

This is on windows 11.
This version works but I don't know how to identify it. It only works on one windows 11 PC and not the other windows 11 PC

The version of QTtabbar is 1039 according to the about window.

The version I installed was in 2018.

I tried copying the program files folder to the other PC but qttabbar did not work on the new pc.

edit: Changed a setting in winaero and now the working Qttabar is gone. So it can work but I have no idea how.
