QTTabBar no longer works on Windows 11 25H2 (build 26200.7462)

As of 1/1/2026, QTTabBar has stopped appearing in File Explorer on my Windows 11 25H2 system (OS build 26200.7462).

Last week, it suddenly disappeared, and this week I updated to build 26200.7462. I’ve tried installing the latest beta (v1.5.6) as well as several older versions, but none of them show up.

Has anyone found a fix or workaround for QTTabBar on Windows 11 25H2?

Yep, mine disappeared when I updated my 25H2 to 26200.7628.
Is there any chance of a new working version anytime soon?
I'm now realising how much I appreciated the functionality - I really miss it!

there is a solution:

1. download windhawk
2. in windhawk find - classic Explorer navigation bar
3. then you will have menu with classic navigation -> go to view, then options and there you will find qttabview )
