Suggestion: Scrolls and Spellbooks - Further modification of staff behavior via the offhand #44

As opposed to adding a billion enchantments for unique spell behaviors like I suggested in @ #43 , I wanted to make a separate issue for this idea given it might be pushing the scope of the mod beyond your vision.

Scrolls could be found as loot, crafted, traded for, etc., and when held in the offhand, will change what happens when you use a staff, a parallel to how fireworks are loaded into a crossbow.

Casting with a scroll with take some durability from said scroll, these could be repaired at an anvil (or crafted) with an item relevant to the scroll's effect.

Spellbooks are convenient way to manage multiple scrolls. Holding the book in your main hand and a scroll in the offhand consumes the scroll but copies it down into the book, multiple spells can be copied down into the book, up to a configured maximum (or via different spellbooks having different limits), this also works with scrolls from the Summoner's Scrolls mod for extra magic management. Keybinds can be assigned to cycle through the spellbook's contained scrolls when held in the offhand slot. Durability is drained from the book as a whole. Combining it with enchanted books repairs it slightly.

This is just an on the spot idea I had while writing up that previous suggestion, it might not be within the vision for this mod, but I feel its a way to keep a relatively vanilla feel to a more "in depth" method of spellcasting. This also opens the door for tons of mod compatibility, much like in the old days of mods like Electroblob's Wizardry.
