Support for vertical panels

Is support for the new Cinnamon vertical panels planned?

I just moved to a vertical panels and ditched dockbarx-dockx. I'd very much like to use this applet, so looking forward to an answer here.

Same as @WACMemphis I just moved to a vertical panel and unfortunately this great extension stopped working. I will try myself to implement if the author is not willing to, I see the latest commit is one year old.

Maybe it is already working with this fork or you can start implementing the feature in the fork rather than here.

Just tried Icing Task Manager and it supports the vertical panel, good stuff
