Make UI better using CSS

I would like to make this app more beautiful like BLACKPINK girls, but i need more community help i guess. Let's improve the chess experience with one step at a time.

I actually use this app quite often but i am too lazzy to add more UI features as I am busy with all the non-necessary stuff in life.

Open to discussions/new ideas/suggestions ^^
