cftokens.exe version mismatch - version downloaded is not the same the module requires

I installed cfformat tonight via commandbox.

I get this error:

Cannot run program "C:/Users/randy/.CommandBox/cfml/modules/commandbox-cfformat/bin/v0.16.8/cftokens.exe": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

cftokens was downloaded but it is this version: v0.16.12

Installed version from forgebox page: 0.21.0 is the latest of 89 release(s)

Any ideas?

v0.21.0 of cfformat should be using v0.16.12 of cftokens. It is not clear to me how a single instance of cfformat could download the correct version of cftokens but then attempt to use a different version. Is this the first time cfformat has been installed on your machine? Since it is a system module, could it have been installed in the past, and then that past version is interfering?

I bet that is exactly what happened. I started a new project and out of habit installed commandbox-cfformat.

I deleted the directory and then ran install commandbox-cfformat --force and that fixed the issue
