Don't trust Chromebook "Basic editor for Microsoft files" for an accurate Word preview

Boy was I worried that Pandoc didn't understand Word™ list counter realities:

So, summing up:

• Pandoc: NOT GUILTY
• "Basic editor for Microsoft files" as found on Chromebook: GUILTY
• Google Docs: NOT GUILTY

So I am betting in real Word™ the counter is probably not stuck. Phew. (But I don't own a licence so am only 90% sure.)

• Abiword 3.0.6 also GUILTY

I'm starting to think the safest thing is for me as an author to do is just forget about attempting to use ordered lists when making DOCX, as half the browsers render it one way, half the other. I should just stick to using unordered lists, or just number lists by hand.
