Can't access Draw.io version 26.0.1 with Export to .VSDX (Beta)

Hello,
I've been converting my organisation's draw.io diagram to Visio diagrams using a link to Draw.io version 26.0.1 which includes the Export to .vsdx(Beta) option. I found a link to the old version in Github Issue "Disappearing VSDX export format #4942". https://26-0-16-dot-drawdotio.appspot.com/
I was using the .vsdx export last week but I can't access the option today. When I use the link today it opens V28.0.4 instead. Has there been a change? Is there any way to access the export option? We are a large organisation, and it would be a lot of work to recreate the diagrams that are left to convert.
I'd appreciate any help or clarification.

Best approach now is to install the last supported version locally https://github.com/jgraph/drawio-desktop/releases/tag/v26.0.16

It's a reasonable alternative, however a lot of organizations don't let you install (or run the no-installer variant).

Ideally there'd still be an online hosted version if possible.

I have forked at version v26.0.16 and hosted on github pages:

For anyone coming across this post via google, you should be able to go to the above link, import your drawio diagram file, and then export again in Visio. This all happens within your local browser. I offer no support...

Hi everyone, I came across this thread while dealing with the same problem for my own use.

I ended up building a dedicated tool to solve exactly this issue: drawio2visio.com (https://drawio2visio.com/)

It works entirely in your browser using the Draw .io v26.0.16 engine (the last version with VSDX support), no installation, no file upload, nothing sent to a server. You just drop your .drawio or .xml file and download the .vsdx, or drop in visio .vsdx and it converts it back to drawio.

A few things that might make it useful for organizations like Sandy's:

• No install required — runs in any modern browser, so no IT approval needed
• Fully private — files never leave your device
• Both directions — it also converts .vsdx back to .drawio, which comes in handy
• Multi-file — you can batch-convert several diagrams at once

It was inspired partly by mattie47's hosted fork (thanks for that, great idea) but built as a purpose-made converter with a proper UI, post-processing to fix Visio shape resizability, and long-term hosting.

Hope it helps anyone still looking for a solution. Happy to take feedback if something doesn't convert cleanly.

Hmm this is an important feature, I can't do my work without it, even if the diagrams are never formatted correctly, I refuse to use Visio for my drafting and Draw.io is simply too functional, too accessible, and too high performing not to use and it's cross platform.... Please bring this back :(
