👋 Thank you for opening this issue! Summary: The user requests a native isometric grid option with snap-to-grid functionality along isometric axes (30°/150° diagonals and horizontal) to enable precise alignment when creating technical piping diagrams in isometric views. Currently they use a background image as a workaround but cannot achieve precise snapping. 📝 Additional Information NeededTo help us investigate this more effectively, could you please provide:

Hello maintainers!
First of all, thank you for the amazing work on draw.io.
I use draw.io extensively to create piping plans in isometric views. I would love to have the option to select a native isometric grid to make representing these networks much easier.
Currently, my workaround is to disable the standard grid and insert a background image instead. Here is an example of the plans I create:
While this solution works, it is not practical for precise work. The main issue is the lack of snap-to-grid functionality for isometric axes. Since the objects and connectors don't "snap" to the background image's lines, it is nearly impossible to achieve perfect alignment between pipes and connection points.
Below is a close-up where you can see these alignment and connection gaps:
Having a native isometric grid with proper snapping would be a game-changer for this type of technical diagramming.
Thank you again for providing such a powerful tool!
Benjamin
