winget not working?

Thanks for reporting this. You are right: the WinGet package was not available yet.

The root cause was that the package had never been accepted into microsoft/winget-pkgs, so winget install jmanuelcorral.SquadCenter could not find it. I have fixed our release automation and submitted the initial WinGet package to Microsoft.

Current status:

• WinGet submission PR: New package: jmanuelcorral.SquadCenter version 0.3.1 microsoft/winget-pkgs#366489
• Package/version submitted: jmanuelcorral.SquadCenter 0.3.1
• The PR is open, mergeable, and the Microsoft validation pipeline has started.

Until Microsoft merges that PR, winget search / winget install may still not find the package. Once it is merged and indexed by WinGet, the install command
should work:

winget install --id jmanuelcorral.SquadCenter --source winget

In the meantime, the app can still be installed from the GitHub release assets:

https://github.com/jmanuelcorral/squadcenter/releases/tag/v0.3.1 

I will update this issue when I have the confirmation that the package has been accepted.
