I think like it or not this repo is the closest we have to proper upstream source. See ESP32-WiPhone/wiphone-firmware#47

It looks like the official developers have lost interest entirely.

But I hate trying to build projects using arduino. And the IDE doesn't seem to be working properly on my computer right now.

Would be good if we could get platform IO support, this would would mean we can get easily reproducible builds, and don't have to worry about accidentally getting settings wrong.

Not sure how feasible this going to be actually, first step I think might the the arduino core which might be a bit of a pain: https://wiphone.io/static/releases/arduino_platforms/WiPhone0.1.2.zip

I think this version is missing a number of files required for the build. e.g. tinySIP.h and tinySIP.cpp.

I think there might be other missing files also.

So this request may not make a lot of sense actually.

Looks like wiphone project is dead, firmware links are dead.
