Repositories sidebar and "Open in existing window" setting

The tabs can get quite out of hand when there are a lot of open repos, and at the same time gitfourchette doesn't forget about previously opened repos, so the tab bar always have more than one.

I think that having a sidebar where one can manage all their repos would be better, on top of that it could make use of a tree view to show submodule repos under parent repos.

"Open in existing window" would also be nice to keep everything in one Gitfourchette instance unless otherwise specified, like it is already with Dolphin and Konsole (yes, I really like this feature).

Would vertical tabs be a good start? That could be an optional replacement for the existing tab strip. It could look something like this (just a mockup).
"Manage all your repos" - Does that include repos that aren't currently open, like the Open Recent menu?

Yup!

Yup. But I am unsure what's the best way to make it, like Idk what would work best. It could just have a "Recent" section below open repos, that would be the easiest way to go about it. But the other two things are a priority.
