Piler 1.4.1: Unable to view new mails in UI

I am unable to view new mails in UI. Mails till the last index id in piler1 are visible. SMTP service is receiving and storing mail, searchd is also active. Unable to reindex as command throws output mail already present in sph_index table.

How do i resolve this issue? Can i resolve the issue by removing rows from sph_index table and reindexing?
