You may have seen that it's been a long time since a new release of the tool was proposed.
Work is currently in progress to rework VolWeb and use a new frontend technology: REACT (Vite+Typescript).
Django REST API will still be used as the main backend framework.
New releases of VolWeb 2.X could arise, but I'd rather focus all of my attention on this new version to address all of the feedback from the community.
