I was about to ask for a similar enhancement. In the latest release the last server IP is stored so the reconnection is faster indeed. But my use case might need a further improvement, if possible in the next releases: I have multiple setups so I open Squeezer in different locations. Sometimes the Server search is not detecting the IP so many times I have to type it by hand.
Besides the step that has been made, the next enhancement could be to store the last used IP addresses so that they could be retrieved by a drop down menu. If these Servers' IP addresses could be made editable and named with labels it would be even better (so to avoid the server search timeout as it could become an option to be triggered by hand).
By the way, the Server's search not working is related to those cases when I'm controlling LMS by Squeezer via a ZeroTier network connection. In these cases I managed to have LMS accessible in every aspect except the server's search of Squeezer. Multicast is correctly detected for other services/apps when I'm using ZT bridged connections but not with Squeezer. What port and mechanism is it using exactly to get the server's IP from LMS server ? I guess that if I would solve the searching via Zero Tier no further improvement would be needed...
Anyway, this app rocks ! Literally ;-)
