Add a button in collectionViewCell

I can add button in my custom cell class and add an @IBAction in the same cell. The problem is there is no way to get this callback to be hit in Controller class where the collectionView lies.
I started using This repo long way back, recently just came this requirement. Messed Up , can somebody please help me on this..??? if i couldn't find a solution soon I'll be screwed ..
