Can't locate object method "namespaces" via package "MediaWiki::DumpFile::Pages"

Hi kerzol,

I am trying to run the parser with the following command
perl ../wikiprep_new/wikiprep/bin/wikiprep -format composite -compress -f enwiki.xml.0000.gz

The problem is it seems like I some problem with modules.

Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at /usr/local/share/perl5/Wikiprep/Disambig.pm line 9.
Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at ../wikiprep_new/wikiprep/bin/wikiprep line 135.
Can't locate object method "namespaces" via package "MediaWiki::DumpFile::Pages" at /usr/local/share/perl5/MediaWiki/DumpFile/Compat.pm line 148.

I also have an error, but this is another error:

Use of the encoding pragma is deprecated at /usr/bin/site_perl/wikiprep line 29.
Use of the encoding pragma is deprecated at /usr/share/perl5/site_perl/Wikiprep/languages.pm line 7.
syntax error at /usr/share/perl5/site_perl/Wikiprep/Disambig.pm line 9, near "->import qw/ extractWikiLinks /"

It seems that qw has become totally depreicated :)
What is your version of perl?

Do you have something like "sub namespaces {" in /usr/local/share/perl5/MediaWiki/DumpFile/Pages.pm ?

I'm not sure but it seems that "namespaces"-bug is here because of new version of wikipedia dumps.

Perl package MediaWiki::DumpFile::Pages is pretty old, and it has been tested only with version 0.5 of wikiedia dumps.

Also you can try to create a ticket in MediaWiki-DumpFile CPAN backtracker.
