Even with an Auto Attendant option for some customers to bypass the AI receptionist some just want to press the key tones and not have a conversation just to reach a person or department.

Since what I have researched chat gpt cannot not understand DMTF tones directly or just tones in general.

However, looks like livekit does have DMTF tone support, perhaps Livekit could "hear' the tones and transfer to call to the proper department or extension.

it would be awesome if the AI receptionist could act more like an AI auto attendant so a caller can just use the dial pad or can also ask questions and have a dialog.
