Chunk border update problems

When tearing down a tower that is more than a chunk high, a block removed at the chunk boundary is stuck in the last step of destruction.

this still seems to happen and not only on towers. I observed it at about 70+ up on a mountain ridge. sometimes only 2 or 3 texture sides would stay. another block can be placed on the spot and the glitch may go away but often stays when one wants to remove the block again. at one instance the glitchy faces seemed to move to the side to make place for the new block.
