[Feature Request] Replace Characters in Filename on rule-match

e.g. for replacing german umlautes ä/ö/ü/ß to ae/oe/ue/ss

Where would you want to replace the characters ?

If filename or directoryname (recursive) contains ä/ö/ü/ß/Ä/Ö/Ü, rename it by replacing the character with ae/oe/ue/ss/AE/OE/UE

But also I see the relevance for replacing e.g. underscores or hyphens and many more ...

In that case, I think it would make more sense to improve the character replacement and filename sanitization with a configurable format, rather than adding a special case specifically for German.

That way, users could define their own replacement rules making the feature more flexible and language-agnostic.
