Except, I don't think everyone is using Rake. Well, at least I don't and therefore can't try it :(

Is there a chance you could keep a dist version in the repository?

I will as soon as I can. Sadly I have no time to work on this library for now, so you may want to take a look at @dockyard ember-validations which seems to be pretty good !
