I fleshed out and expanded the information in the Wiki. My goal was to make using unifi-os-server more approachable since it's so useful. It's at: https://github.com/richb-hanover/unifi-os-server/wiki
MAJOR PROVISO: This all needs careful checking and proofreading. I have marked some places (in italics) where I have questions. I believe that I have kept the everything correct, but someone who knows more than I do should verify everything.
I made changes to all the files, specifically:
-
Home page has more introductory information: what unifi-os-server does, why use a Docker container, an overview of its operation, and links to the other pages.
-
Getting Started: more information about using docker compose; added a side note about Raspberry Pi, so the system requirements don't sound so forbidding.
-
Troubleshooting: very minor edits, mostly to make markdownlint happy
-
New "Migrating" page: I moved this text from the Getting Started page since it interrupted the "getting started" flow.
Please let me know of corrections or omissions. If this is useful, let me know how I can add it to the current wiki. Thanks.
