How to disable the default right click context menu behavior?

At the moment litegraph.ts does not provide a public API to customize or disable the built-in ContextMenu.
This is also reflected in the roadmap (Customize ContextMenu is not implemented yet).

Current situation

• All right-click menus (canvas / node / widget / combo) directly instantiate ContextMenu
• There is no factory, hook, or renderer abstraction
• Therefore, custom “Add Node” dialogs cannot be integrated cleanly yet

Workaround (hacky, not a stable API)

If you need to disable or change the default behavior right now, the only option is to patch or override ContextMenu or the canvas context-menu handler.

Example: disable the default right-click menu on canvas

canvas.addEventListener("contextmenu", (e) => {
    e.preventDefault();
    // open your own add-node dialog here
});

Example: patch a prototype method:

ContextMenu.prototype.close = function () {
    // override default close behavior
};

⚠️ These approaches work, but they rely on internal behavior and may break on upgrades.

Future plan

The plan is to decouple UI infrastructure (ContextMenu / Dialog / Panel) from core logic and expose proper interfaces (factory / renderer / hooks), but this is not supported yet.

If you have a specific ContextMenu API in mind, feel free to open a design/proposal issue — it would be helpful for the upcoming refactor.
