Texpresso with latest tectonic binary

Im using the new Tectonic.toml to configure my project and using settings that are only supported by the latest release. Running texpresso in my repo now results in:

Is there a way to build texpresso so it uses the latest release / master branch of tectonic?

I mean since Tectonic.toml can define the root file inputs = ["main.tex"], texpresso may also use this information
