As the title says, some jitter and/or cutting out of in-game sound samples can be observed when the core is run with Run-Ahead set to either "Single Instance" mode or "Preemptive Frames" mode.
I am not sure yet whether the problem applies to all content equally, or else is specific to certain titles, but it can be easily reproduced by playing "Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance" and simply mashing D-Pad directions during normal gameplay, even right at the start during the initial chase sequence. The background music will noticeably exhibit hiccups and missing samples when buttons or D-Pad arrows are being repeatedly pressed.
I tested a core version prior to the latest rebase and the issue was in fact already present back then. This does not happen, instead, when Run-Ahead is set to "Secondary Instance" mode.
