Running Caliper on Tioga

Hi all. I am having problems running Caliper on Tioga. I am running rocketrig/beatnik (a package in spack), and it hangs after X number of timesteps when running with Caliper. Has anyone had success running Caliper with MPI on Tioga? I am running Caliper with gotcha, kokkos, papi, and mpi enabled, and my KOKKOSARGS are this:

KOKKOSTOOLARGS="--kokkos-tools-libs=${HOME}/install-lassen/lib64/libcaliper.so --kokkos-tools-args=runtime-report(profile.kokkos,aggregate_across_ranks,mpi.message.count,mpi.message.size,calc.inclusive),mpi-report,hatchet-region-profile(profile.mpi,use.mpi)"
