Setup SPG for non gpu computers

Hi,
I am having trouble running SPG a cpu only machines. When the nvidia drivers are not present it is not possible to install cupy (at least as far as I can tell) and SPG cannot run without cupy. Any idea about how to go about this? Maybe @mys007 ?
