Ability to include link to source when adding images

As someone who uses Pexels frequently, and wants to link back to the source (either through a link in the caption or by linking the image itself), it appears that my efforts have not been successful. Would this issue be related to the lack of ability to include alt text with images (#934)? Or is there something different at play?

Hi. I'd like to be able to add links within captions for sure. Also image links. These are not possible right now due to the editor which doesn't support it. It's under active development (https://github.com/basecamp/lexxy) so it would best be opened as an issue on that repo.

I could have a go at implementing it, but it may be something that is being planned and it's not guaranteed that any implementation I do will get merged, which it would need to for it to be adopted by Pagecord.
