Amazing app; simple, clean, and very effective.
I have a few issues and feature requests:
Issues
-
There’s currently no visible way to see or edit the title of a markdown file.
I’d suggest placing the title in the top navigation area where the Preview/Edit toggle currently is. The Preview/Edit switch could instead be moved to the bottom center for easier access.
-
The Share icon is not vertically centered.
It may also be better to replace it with an “Options” menu containing:
- Rename
- Save to Files
- Share
-
The top navigation bar does not appear to fully support the new Liquid Glass design.
It lacks transparency/blur behavior and doesn’t allow the background content to visually pass through.
-
The editing toolbar currently feels a bit limited visually, and image support and hide keyboard do not appear to work properly.
A floating rounded Liquid Glass-style toolbar would look much cleaner and more modern, especially if it were slightly larger and easier to interact with.
Feature Requests
- More UI customization options would be great, such as:
- Themes
- Background customization
- Accent color pickers/sliders
Right now, the light and dark modes feel a bit too contrasting, so additional personalization would improve the experience significantly.
For the accent color system specifically, a native-style implementation similar to iOS’s built-in color picker would make this especially powerful. A good approach would be integrating a system-level color selector (like the one used in iOS apps), allowing users to:
- choose colors from a visual spectrum
- adjust brightness and saturation via sliders
- optionally input or derive precise values
This would give users both quick presets and fine-grained control, similar to how Apple handles tint/accent customization in system apps.
- Since the app already supports colored text rendering, it would be great to have a built-in text color option directly in the editor toolbar instead of requiring manual HTML styling.
A good implementation could include:
- preset colors,
- a slider/color picker for custom selection
- integration with the same accent-color style picker used in the app’s customization settings
This would make highlighting important text much faster and more intuitive while keeping the editing experience clean and consistent.
