You are right that having the dialog docked is harder than it seems. It would require re-create the dialog to be a separate control and not simply a dialog box. Regardless if you open it from the library or during reading It's all connected to the same code anyway. Also the layout of the Info dialog doesn't really fit well with being docked. So we would really need 2 different version, the regular dialog and another slimmer. I mean it probably possible, but I don't see why you can't simply open the dialog to update a value and close it just after it. |

First off, thanks for resurrecting this legendary reader and taking on the huge task of maintaining, improving, and modernizing it where sensible. Amazing work, and hats off to everyone involved!
One thing I often do with comics that are missing metadata is fill it in as I read - characters, tags, issue titles, etc... Then I sometimes upload this metadata back to reader websites that allow it so others can benefit from the improved information.
In CR, though, I can't currently read the comic while the info dialog is open, as the dialog takes focus and prevents me from navigating between pages. I can't see a way to dock this as a panel either in case a separate dialog window was the issue here..
At the moment, I work around this by keeping a text file open, adding there as I read - then at the very end copy this all into the info dialog at the end of reading the issue/volume. Not the biggest thing in the world but a couple of extra steps.
It would be great if the info dialog could remain open and editable while still allowing the comic to be read through (whether in it's dialog window form or a panel. Depending on how things are implemented, I appreciate this may be a bigger challenge than it sounds on the surface, just a wish/idea
