can't run reflex

I'm following the User Guide.

I could already run the setup script and I have the worker running.
But when trying to run reflex it throws:

Running on macOS with python 3.10.

Any pointer on this? Anyone else having this issue?

Trying to run on a more recent python version (3.12) fails to install llvmlite:

      RuntimeError: Cannot install on Python version 3.12.12; only
      versions >=3.6,<3.10 are supported.

      hint: This usually indicates a problem with the package or the
      build environment.
  help: `llvmlite` (v0.36.0) was included because `umap-learn`
        (v0.5.9.post2) depends on `numba` (v0.53.1) which depends
        on `llvmlite`

Thanks for the info! It looks like I wasn't specific enough with my version requirements. I've sent a push that has more specifically pinned down the requirements:

pydantic>=2.0.0,<2.11.0 - fixes the sqlmodel compatibility issue
umap-learn>=0.5.6 - fixes Python 3.12 support (pulls modern numba/llvmlite)

Try:

git pull
rm -rf .venv
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r app/requirements.txt

That should get you back on track with versions that work with this build. Thank you for your help!

Could be.

You can also try this, pip install --upgrade pydantic sqlmodel reflex
in order to update, it may or may not be the issue.

If it still doesnt work try, pip install pydantic>=2.0

otherwise, I can't really help.
