Help wanted testing on Apple silicon (arm64e)

All releases have so far been tested only on x86_64-based systems. The current installation method using Homebrew builds the target binary from source and should therefore produce a working binary on arm64e. Any help testing this on Apple silicon would be much appreciated.

An arm64e build of version 1.2.0 has been tested on macOS Monterey via Homebrew source-build install.
