Sort Newest First

What feature would you like to see?

I want to sort the files in the folder browser by newest first.

Why is this needed?

I want to see the updated files right away.

This is coming in v2.9.0, shipping next week. You'll find a new Sort option in the sidebar's filter panel (the funnel icon next to the search box) where you can sort by name, modified date, or size, in either direction.

Picking "Modified" with descending order gives you exactly the newest first view you asked for, and your choice is remembered across sessions. Hope it helps!

Having the setting remembered across sessions is also a great touch. I'm really impressed by how responsive you are to user feedback. Looking forward to trying v2.9.0 next week!
