Got major DLL import issues trying to use CUDA/GPU with Python 3.12 (downgraded from 3.13 as first troubleshooting). Your default requirements-gpu.txt did not work on my system. Had to bring out ChatGPT and systematically went through the include stack and came up with a working set.

Also, once I (we) overcame that added a somewhat useful mini progress bar to show that things are happening to the end user between major progress bar updates. Please find my package below and accept or reject as you desire. Very useful tool and hope you add direct pdf import as you had in the PDF-narrator.
Of note your
- You should keep the married voices from pdf-narraotr - seemed to downgrade to 4 or 5?
- Also add the "test" for voice like pdf-narrator.
