no shortcut replacement on certain sites

I am using textfast to write medical chart notes. However, on the browser-based EMR I am using, textfast does not replace the shortcut. Most other websites are not having the problem.

I've found that sites use TinyMCE editor for input aren't working properly sometimes.

As a work around using the <> button opens the raw text editor and generally that works for me.

I tried this on the demo site in the messages page by sending a message and fasttext worked for the body of the message. Is there some specific field that was not working?
