Unable to setup unrar on Apple Silicon M1

Hi, I'm having trouble setting up unrar on a MacBook Pro 13-inch with Apple M1 chipset.

Description
When running the make install-lib command, I get Operation Not Permitted error. I've even tried disabling my SIP as suggested on many forums, but even after that, it does not work. Since, the make install-lib command is failing, I'm unable to generate the unrarlib.so file and therefore, not able to set the UNRAR_LIB_PATH which is required by unrarlib.py.

I believe this has something to do with ARM architecture of the M1 chip, but that's a wild guess.
