@amadou-6e that's weird I tried from scratch on Windows and I didn't have any issues.
I installed Python 3.13 then installed it via pip

However, judging by the error message you got it looks like your computer cannot decode certain characters.
Is your locale/language non-english?

Perhaps the icons in /pytree/icons.py don't work well on all languages
