Does not display results less than certain limit

Maybe an issue with typeahead ? If i have 3 results in the response it does not render autocomplete but i can see the response in the console

Show how you render your input.
Something like this:
<%= f.input :client, :as => :autocomplete, :source_query => autocomplete_client_name_clients_url %>

Check if you extra options for autocomplete input.

check if you have Javascript errors in console. Probably, typeahead wasn't initialized properly.
