AppStoreExtract failing due to small/unknown size?

Hi, I am trying to use the AppStoreExtract.sh script, but am getting the following error: hdiutil: create failed - Host is down. I know you said that the script will fail when the app is too small of a size, but is there any way to fix this? I'm wondering if the hdiutil "host is down" error has to do with that issue.

I am on macOS 10.14.6, MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2017, 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 w/ 16GB of ram.
