I look terrible when I meet someone super excited to try the app on the spot given that the URL is so simple, and its gated. Because its on a web browser, we cant leverage the cross-login to google gmail / github so user has to usually type the credentials, which is a strong turn-off.
Adding a wallet message sign-on could work but still terrible UX relative to "go on the website and use straightaway" kind of UX
Plus the people I meet I conference are the very ones I want to spend large efforts acquiring, so that falls through instantly most of the time except if they run businesses, have lots of new recruits that could need fast onboarding
