Memory allocation error, unable to restart

Just got a

memory allocation failed, allocating 184 bytes

error on the wall panel. This time the restart button does not work so it's stuck in limbo until power is reset. Not sure if this relates to #37

Unfortunately MicroPython's garbage collector isn't great and the memory can become fragmented, even though the esp32 should have more than enough memory for this project. Depending on how many items need to be loaded, like streams, zones, versions, the device can occasionally run out of memory. The real solution is to rewrite everything in a non-garbage collected language like C/C++, which is something we are considering doing in the future.

Some errors cannot be recovered from so even the restart button will fail. There is a pin hole on the bottom of the device that can be pressed if the on-screen restart button fails. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the update -- I ended up flipping a breaker to reset it but good to know about the pin hole. Sounds annoying that the GC isn't great.
