v7.6.0 - The app always starts the front camera

Hi Team,
I’m integrating the new version v7.6.0. On the first launch of the scanner, it always starts with the front camera. However, after dismissing and starting the scanner again, it correctly opens the rear camera.

• iPhone 11 - iOS 26.1
• XCode 26.1

In addition, please let us know if you're using any custom camera or scanning settings.

Could you please try the following change in line 245 in Source/Shared/Camera/CaptureService.swift?

Replace:

if let camera, currentDevice != camera {

With:

if let camera, currentDevice != camera, camera.position == currentDevice.position {

Could you then let us know if this resolves the issue on your side?

The next release is scheduled for mid to late February.

In the meantime, the only available workaround is the change in Source/Shared/Camera/CaptureService.swift mentioned above.
