Description
Description of the new feature / enhancement
I suggest improving the "Find My Mouse" feature by adding the following options:
- Manual adjustment of display duration: Allow users to set how long the spotlight remains visible—even when the mouse cursor is idle (currently ~2 seconds).
- Option for persistent display: Keep the spotlight active until manually disabled.
Suggested Implementation:
- Add a slider for adjusting the spotlight duration (e.g., 1–10 seconds or "infinite")
- Include a checkbox for "Keep spotlight visible until disabled" in the PowerToys "Find My Mouse" settings
Scenario when this would be used?
The spotlight feature is frequently used in video conferences or screen-sharing presentations to highlight content. Currently, the spotlight disappears too quickly if the mouse isn’t moved, causing unnecessary interruptions when explaining something in detail. Having to move the mouse constantly just to keep the spotlight visible is impractical and distracting.
