On Galaxy Watch Classic 8: I cant acess any of the downloaded books. They just wont show up, however if I go to storage the it says that ShelfTime taker 4GB in size so they appear to be downloaded. Any ideias? Can provide more info if needed!

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the trouble!

I think I've already found one cause. Books that were downloaded but never played had no progress record stored, and the query that builds the local list silently filtered those rows out. The files were on the watch the whole time (hence the 4 GB), the list just never showed them. That's fixed on my side and will be in the next update.

There's a second possibility I can't rule out from here, so a few questions would help:

1. Do the books also fail to show up when the watch has an internet connection, or only in offline mode?
2. Did the downloads ever finish completely? (The download icon changes to a trash can once a book is fully downloaded - did you see that happen?)
3. Are all books affected, or only some of them?
4. Did you play any of these books on the watch at least once, or did you download them and never open them?
5. Roughly how many books do you have downloaded?

The reason I ask: a book is only treated as "downloaded" when every single audio track finished downloading. If one track failed, the whole book stays hidden while the data already downloaded still takes up space - which would look exactly like what you're seeing. If that turns out to be the case, it needs a separate fix (resuming incomplete downloads).

Either way I'll get this sorted in an upcoming update. If you're able to test a build before release, let me know and I'll ping you.

Hey, just to report some additional testing: I found that if I, before downloading the book in the watch, I open the book in the phone or browser, it will download and show up normally when the watch is offline. If I try to download a book that I never opened outside of the watch, if the watch is offline it wont show up on the list (even if the download was completed successfully). For some reason, I don't think when I open a book only on the watch (without first opening anywhere else), the Audiobookshelf server is getting the Continue Listening info, and then the download does not show when the watch is offline. The answers you requested: 1. Do the books also fail to show up when the watch has an internet connection, or only in offline mode? ---- No, only in offline mode, however if I didn't go through opening the book outside of the watch it does not accurately sync progress 2. Did the downloads ever finish completely? (The download icon changes to a trash can once a book is fully downloaded - did you see that happen?) ---- yes, I confirmed the download completed by staying on the app screen and to allowing the watch to sleep 3. Are all books affected, or only some of them? --- after I discovered the reason, only those books that I did not open elsewhere before downloading 4. Did you play any of these books on the watch at least once, or did you download them and never open them? ---- this was the issue as mentioned above 5.
