Stuck on "Starting late TUI..." after launch

Its taking 10-15min for the app to launch i'm just seeing message "Starting late TUI..."
I'm running it in zsh shell on ubuntu(24.04) on wls2 windows. Not sure how i can debug it.

Thank you for your report. I know that logging support is rather neglected in Late right now.
To understand what is happening I'd like to understand some things maybe they can help pinpoint it:

• Does Late eventually startup (after these 15mins) or does it hang indefinitely?
• Do you have any MCP servers setup? If so does it startup instantly without these MCP servers?
• In addition to the above while it is hanging can you check if the late process is sleeping during that time? (For example using ps aux/htop looking for the Status S)
• Are you using a local inference engine (llama.cpp)? If so any special server settings or custom split (e.g. engine on another device over the network)?
