Refining Task Accountability Logic and UI/UX Interactions ✨ #1

Hi @monicathomas8 , I've been using the app and love the minimalist vibe. I found a few small "edge cases" and interaction points that could make the user experience even more satisfying and fair.
Specifically, I noticed the "Pick my one thing" button doesn't give any feedback when the list is empty, which might confuse some users. I also have some ideas for "Accountability Logic" to make the 5-minute timer feel more intentional!

Proposed Logic Improvements:

  • Empty State Handling: Add a specific interaction or "empty list" state so the "Pick my one thing" button doesn't stay static when no tasks are present.

  • Accountability Timer: Update the "I did 5 mins" button so it only activates after the "Start" timer has actually run for 5+ minutes. This ensures the 5-minute sessions are tracked in real-time.

  • Accidental Deletion: Add a quick confirmation or "Undo" option for the "Delete it?" button to prevent losing a task by mistake.

Visual Feedback & UI Polish:

  • Button Response: Improve the "clicked" state for the "Start breathing", "Start" and "I did 5 mins" buttons so the user knows their action was registered.

  • Subtle Timer Progress: Find a way to show time is being measured in a very subtle, low-pressure way that fits the "One-Thing" aesthetic.

  • Iconography: Use symbols/icons for "Mark done" and "Delete it" to make the task list look cleaner on mobile.

  • Mobile Layout: Adjust the "Menu" alignment (left-aligning instead of center) to improve the mobile browsing experience.

I'd love to work on these and send over some PRs! Let me know what you think.
